Cyclists getting a workout in a SPIN class at the Cycling Center of Dallas

SPIN Class

Note: class space is limited. Please obtain a SPIN pass from the front desk at least 30 minutes prior to start time.

What are SPIN Classes?

SPIN classes offer people who are interested in general fitness a way to get a vigorous 45-minute workout without having to deal with the outdoor environment. Videos enhance the experience with beautiful scenery, great roads in wonderful places, and bike races from a historical perspective. Workouts are accompanied by contemporary music and verbal commands from the instructor.

Exercise intensity in the class is highly variable, and resistance is based on an adjustable knob on the flywheel. Workouts are done in groups (the more the merrier), and offer a great opportunity to join a community of like-minded individuals.

No special equipment is necessary for a SPIN class. Just show up in workout gear, make sure your bike is adjusted properly for your body, and start pedaling. Water bottles are recommended. Towels will be provided.

Classes are held throughout the week. It is usually a good idea to show up at the front desk early and request a SPIN pass. Classes often fill to capacity.
